Long floral skirt

Another one from awhile ago…

I love this pattern and have made lots of short and full length skirts from it.  The pattern comes from the 60s evening dress I blogged about a few days ago. Over time I have modified it so that there are no darts. Instead the side seams are curved in a lot so that it fits – though it does also sit low on my hips. It has a centre back seam, split and invisible zipper. As it is so basic it only takes a couple of hours to make.

The fabric is a soft, Japanese made quilting cotton.

Here’s the drawings. What are these kinds of drawings called anyway?
